A Big Pyr "Hello"..

Here is a GREAT BIG Pyr welcome

to all of y'all!

WOOF!

This is our first posting on our new

blog...

so, we would like to introduce ourselves to you

First is

Belle's Chlothilde Lagniappe
"But I prefer just..Chloe or..Princess.
I was born on March the ninth 2003...
and got to come home when I was ten weeks old.
At that time I had an older brother,
Boudreaux,
at first he didn't quite know what to think of me,
however in a day or two he was watching
over me and began teaching me the ropes..
he did get use to the fact that
even though,
like him I was Great Pyrenees through and through...
I had quite a bit of Princess thrown in too!
We made a great pair!
Here are some pictures of me on my first night home!

Chloe!
After several happy years of learning,
guarding, playing with and loving Boudreaux
his time came to rest and we all missed him greatly..
(Truth be known Mama still cries when she thinks
of him not being with us anymore.)
In the time following, Daddy's job took us
to a new and wondrous place where in the winter
it snowed almost all the time
and it piled up so high!!
I loved it..it was
really hard for Mama to get me to come in most times
out of the weather!!
Then that spring we took a trip down to Alabama
to our "always" home..
on the way we stopped in North Carolina
and met a young Pyr..
I wasn't sure quite what to think..
but, that was o.k. because we left him there.
Little did I know, that he would be picked up and make the
return trip back north with us!
I tolerated him..
and do you know what?
In about two days I realized...
he was my Chloe, and would grow into
another best friend!
Oh, he has grown a lot!
But, I still watch after him..
even when we go to the park
I will keep a close watch over him.
He can be off running and playing then,
he will come running back to check in with me...
He is a very good boy!
And he is my little fellow..
Thibodeaux."

"My name is Thibodeaux Maximus Patou
they call me Thibodeux, Thibby or some times Deaux
(which sounds like dough)
I was born March 17 , 2009 on St. Patricks Day!
I got to go home with my Mama & Daddy and big Sister
on Mothers Day that year!
I love having a good time romping and playing!
While I was still real young and pretty short
I learned the different things to do to get
Chloe to quit resting and play with me..
some of the same "tricks" also work
for stealing chew bones or an occasional cookie!
We'll talk about them later..
at first I was really small..but, I had a real
big heart and a real big personality..
when it came to playing with Chloe..
(although she really was VERY gentle,
letting her playing get bigger as I did)
I never backed down or gave up..
till I had to rest!
After all, I was a Big Dog , too.
We love to ride in the van,
we love to play, and we absolutely love
a good petting and
we Love COOKIES!!!

Here are some pictures of me on my first
day home.
Boy, wasn't I cute!!!"

***
We are so glad you dropped by..
we will try to update this thing every so often..
sometimes with new stories and some times with old..
We might even talk Mama into sharing a tale here and there about our older brother Boudreaux..

and occasionally we will even have a guest writer...

The Royalty that shares our domain..
the one who thinks "She" is in charge..
shhh...we don't tell her any different..
Miss Bo-Bo.

Until next time..
watch out for any "Coyotes or Bears",
enjoy a good roll in the grass and
treat yourself to a nice long nap in the shade!

  3. Thibodeaux,
That question is easily answered. You see, it isn't that Momma and Daddy will allow Miss Bo-Bo to sleep in the bed and not you. That wouldn't be fair! It's that Miss Bo-Bo allows them to sleep in the bed, and has instructed them that puppies aren't allowed. You and I both know that she likes you very much, but we must allow her to keep up the facade of feline superiority and disdain. Should other cats somehow find out (I'm sure they have some sort of network) that she let puppies sleep in her bed, then she would probably suffer great ridicule, and perhaps even ostracism. I hope that helps. Remember, when Momma or Daddy tell you to get out of the bed it is just because Miss Bo-Bo has asked them to.
    Love,
    Carrie
