Thibodeaux: Welcome back, it’s been quite awhile..
a lot’s been happening around here since last we spoke…
Momma has been working awful hard around the place and on week-ends our Dad comes over and they go to Albertville to help out over there..
something to do with a tornado…
and our Momma’s Mama…
I thought “tornado” was part of my name??
Oh, well I will have to ask Chloe about that…
anyway…
We have been having lots of fun,
but it sure has been getting hot,
I have been told that’s pert normal for
the deep south…
we will lay in the shade and cool off quite a bit, but
sometimes we have to
“Guard the yard”
and that can get to be quite a HOT job when you are wearing a big fur coat.
So ,Momma brought home 2 Big Dawg water bowls for the yard…kinda funny if you ask me..we don’t drink our big water pail dry…but, women can be funny like that sometimes…
speaking of funny…
Shhhh…
now don’t you go telling this…
but, Chloe will JUMP right in that big ‘ole water bowl…
yep, with all 4 feet!!
Never seen such in all my life…
just don’t quite know what to think …
you know with
all this talk about her being royalty
“a Princess”
and all…
and
then she’ll just go and jump right in MY water dish!
Chloe:
“Oh,Bless his heart!”
Thibodeaux: “Country livin’ can be hard work…a country boy has got to get some rest!”
Chloe: “Well, Bless his heart!”
“That’s my Thibby!”
we have officially become pyr zealots. (insert specific farmsteading problem here) "oh you should get a great pyrenees, they are great with that"
ReplyDeleteour dogs blow me away everyday. they are so smart and well mannered. i can't imagine a better companion or livestock guardian dog.
Thanks for leaving a note Karl! We all have to agree with you whole heartedly! To know a Pyr is to love a Pyr!
